The EAST EUROPEAN JEWISH HERITAGE PROJECT
is dedicated to the revival of Jewish religion, life and traditions in East Europe. We believe that this must and can only occur through the building of self-sufficiency at the local level. The EEJHP works with supporters who share our belief in this grass roots model.
The EEJHP will help you and your community organize your own effective aid campaign allowing you to reach out to specific communities and individuals. It is important to our community and yours that firm human bonds are built. This is often best achieved with small-scale local initiatives which enable self-help.
The EEJHP is a facilitation organization. That means that we will help you implement your own ideas or suggest ways in which you can help. All gifts-in-kind and funds go directly to the intended recipients.
The EEJHP is also here to help you with your research, whether it is for scholarly, genealogical or other purposes. We want to help you learn more about the past, present and future of the Jewish community in Belarus.
